Shipping Exceptions
This is used as the shipping cost, if (for some reason) the shipping amount cannot be obtained from UPS. This will also be used if the shipping methods you have selected are not available to the shopper's destination. Only under very unusual circumstances will this option ever be used.

Flat Rate
Charges the same shipping fee per order regardless of item quantity or cost.
Amount:
Example: 5.00 (for $5.00)
Percent (%) of Order Subtotal
Adds a shipping fee based on a percentage of the order subtotal. You can also specify a base rate, and then the percentage of the order subtotal will be added on top of that.
Percent:
Example: .07 (for 7%)
Base Rate:
Coded Amount Per Item
This option allows you to manually specify a shipping charge for each individual product. If you choose this option, you must specify a shipping amount when you create each individual product. You can also specify a base amount here. The shipping amount for each product ordered will be added to the base amount to get the total shipping charge for an order.
Base Rate:
Ex: 3.00 (for $3.00)
Amount Per Item (based on quantity)
This option allows you to specify a single cost below and that cost is multiplied by the number of items sold. You can also specify a base rate, and then the quantity of items multiplied by the amount specified will be added on top of the base rate to get the total shipping charge for the order.
Amount:
Example: 1.00 (for $1.00)
Base Rate:
Example: 3.00 (for $3.00)
Amount Per lb/kg
This method multiplies the weight of the order by the amount specified for the shipping cost. You can also specify a base rate, and then the weight of the order multiplied by the amount specified will be added on top of that.

Example: 1.21 (for $1.21/lb)
Base Rate:
Example: 3.00 (for $3.00)

Single-Method Sliding Scale:
EZ-Shipping sets a given shipping fee for orders up to (and including) each threshold. The threshold trigger can be a dollar amount, quantity, or weight. Start at the top with the smallest threshold, and fill in as many thresholds/fees needed. The last shipping fee will also apply to orders larger than your last threshold.
