Prizes Received
The winners in each category will each receive the Mr. Frank Elliott Award for Excellence in Photography, a medallion and a prize of $1000 (one thousand).
The first runners up will each receive second place medallions and $700 (seven hundred)
The second runners up will each receive third place medallions and $500 (five hundred)
Limited Participation
In the event of limited participation (less than 1760 combined entries) The prizes will be awarded as follows:
Only the First-Place winners will receive the medallions, and $1000 (one thousand)
All runners up will receive the appropriate medallions only
If participation is less than 800 combined the contest will be aborted and all monies refunded

Date of Contest
The Contest will begin on January 1, 2020 at 8 am CST and end on July 15, 2020 at 11:59 pm. CDST
Entries submitted after this contest period will not be accepted.
The Contestants must be in one of the four categories A) Adult B College Students C) High School Students D Middle school Students and residents of the US.
Obligations
No purchase is necessary, but there is a $5 entry fee. All contestants must sign a Media Release Form. If under 18 years old, a Parental Consent and Media Release Form must also be signed by the Parent or legal guardian.
Submission Requirements
Each contestant will submit a photo on the theme You Don’t Live on My Street uploaded using a Google Form (acceptable formats are Jpeg and File sizes are less than 10MB) Each photo entered will require a separate processing fee of $5 (five dollars) Entries will not be accepted unless submitted via the official contest channel Submissions will not be accepted once the deadline lapses.
The Foston Institute reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate or does not conform to stated contest rules.
The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Method of selecting a winner
A Photography Committee will screen all the participants and present for the judging panel the top three contestants in each of the four categories of Adult, College, High School, or Middle School. The participants submission will be presented in a gallery at a program on the night of August 21, 2020 to the audience at a gallery showing that evening. With the audience using score cards printed with the judging criteria; their balloting will be submitted to the final Panel of Judges. and represent 50% of their final score.
